I acquired the taste and love for hot tea as a child growing up on an island in the Caribbean. Why hot tea when the weather is hot, one would ask? Well, my island was a British colony, at the time, so naturally tea drinking was introduced as a habit.  Whether it was discovered solely through personal experience, or by already known studies, drinking hot tea has a cooling effect afterwards on the body. Over the years in my travels, I have experienced many aromatic and flavorful teas from different cultures, including drinking iced teas.
